Aboard cruise ships, yachts, on board rail cars and aircraft, safety considerations for crew and passengers require that furnishings and wall decor adhere to high standards to prevent injury in event of an accident.
In 1989 ConservArt was chosen to supply the framing for VIA Rail Canada's major refitting program of their passenger trains. All decorative pictures, route maps and six time-zone clocks were designed, engineered and manufactured in house.
The six time-zone clock was engineered and custom fabricated by ConservArt to VIA Rail specifications to operate independently from the power supply of the rail cars.
